Despite two consecutive late nights the girls got up at 7.15 and we were on our way to the Magic Kingdom by 8am. We opted for the bus as one was due, and we were inside the park gates by 8.15. We rode Mine Train where the girls played ‘Read My Lips’ and giggled the whole way round, and the. headed for the castle to watch the park opening show for the final time this trip. The girls FaceTimed my mum and dad who were looking after their cousins for the day, so they all had a lovely chat before the show started.

Afterwards we decided to tick the rides we hadn’t done off our list, so we all rode Speedway (I hate that ride!), Little Mermaid and the girls rode Dumbo. We also went to meet Donald & Goofy (Donald was missing from the morning show so the girls decided he’d had a few too many drinks in the Tap House the night before and had an ‘overhang’) and Chip & Dale.

It was then just about time for Festival of Fantasy. It was much cooler today, so we didn’t have to worry about finding shade, but still ended up in the same spot just up from Liberty Tree Tavern. As the weather was a bit temperamental Mickey, Donald etc were in their regular clothes, which is always fun to see as they don’t often appear in those together.

After the parade we headed for Tron (our group was called just before the parade but there was no way the girls were missing it!!) and the queue was so much shorter than the soft opening. It took us less than 25 minutes from entering the queue to getting off the ride, as opposed to over an hour the first time we rode. I still felt a bit sick but nothing that would stop me riding again, and the girls were absolutely fine and loved it (even if Winnie’s face suggests otherwise!!)

We thought about going for lunch but decided instead to head back to the hotel and grab some quick service in the room whilst we packed a few bits as we wanted to head to Hollywood Studios for the afternoon and didn’t know what time we’d be back.

It started to become much windier and rainier, and by the time we got to Studios it was actually quite chilly, so we headed straight into a Frozen show which was just starting. We also watched the Muppets (has to be done) and the Mickey shorts, had a walk around Galaxy’s Edge and rode Toy Story Mania. We had a Sci Fi reservation but had all had enough so decided to cancel it and head back for tea at Geyser Point instead, which we all loved, although for saying Donald is her favourite, Winnie is terrified of the ducks and ducklings that kept walking around!

We went back to the room and tried to persuade the girls to eat as much of their remaining Easter chocolate as possible whilst I tried to fit the rest in the cases.
Tomorrow it’s home time and we’re just trying to plan whether to have a pool day or head to the parks one final time.
