We woke up and got packed up this morning while the girls watched the new episode of High School Musical. Although we weren’t rushing, we were in the lobby catching an Uber to the Polynesian by 9am.We arrived, checked in them got changed into pool clothes to spend a few hours enjoying the new surroundings. There was an impromptu pool clean at lunch time which meant no swimming for around 45 minutes, but other than that all good.Around 2.15pm we got a text to say the room was ready, so headed to find it, before getting our bags sent up.
We had a teatime reservation at O’hana, so had a shower and got ready for that in a nice, leisurely way. We were seated really quickly and had a great night eating all the food (I know there’s a lot of food at O’hana, but all we left were 3 shrimp and 2 potstickers, and that’s only because I was the only one eating them 🙈😂) We all had to practically roll ourselves out of there.
A quick stop in the lobby to collect an Amazon Fresh order we placed after getting our room, and we headed up to decide what to do with the rest of the evening, passing two little bunny rabbits on the way.
Unfortunately, disaster struck as Winnie realised, she’d left her sleep mask at the Universal hotel (we thought we’d checked everywhere for left items but clearly not). She has huge issues with getting overly attached to inanimate objects, so this was a major deal and resulted in a lot of tears and upset. We rang the hotel, but nothing had been found yet. Luckily, we had a back up mask which, along with a few episodes of did the trick, albeit temporarily.I’m hoping the mask turns up tomorrow.
