Disney Staycation Day 13: Gay Paris

Our cruise ship is apparently the fastest transport known to man as after Peru we docked in France today!

We decided to start the day with some traditional French crepes which the girls enjoyed tossing (although it did render the tossed crepe inedible as it landed on the floor, in the sink and on my foot!!)

They then went for a barefoot stroll in the park (garden) where Winnie promptly trod in a pile of bird poo, and then walked through the house yo inform me she had said poo on her foot. Those french pigeons don’t half make a sticky mess!!
The girls then decided to do a bit of singing. They opted for Be Our Guest to start with as it’s the most French song they know (do they not teach Frère Jacques in school any more?!) and the sound was delightful! (I’d like to add that the singing went on for an hour whilst I was trying to concentrate on my work! Not the easiest task I’ve ever had!!)

Next was a bit of painting. Polly went for a traditional French landscape whilst Winnie opted for Rapunzel & Flynn! No idea what the connection was but by the time I’d wrestled to get the easels up only for it to rain and move us indoors I really didn’t care!

We ended the day with a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower before heading back onto the ship.

The girls are now fast asleep and I won’t be far behind!!
