Today the girls hit that wall that we all hit on holiday, when they realise how tired they actually are and need to rest. So, they spent the morning chilling and watching Vintage Mickey cartoons.
After lunch they decided they fancied a game of crazy golf at the Winter/ Summerland course (set up by Winnie), although they didn’t bother to either get out of their nighties or wash their dinner off of their faces! Winnie chose winter and Polly chose summer which meant they got around quite quickly but enjoyed it (when they actually worked out how to hit the ball!) They even got a candy cane when they finished, albeit slightly larger and less edible than the usual version!
They then headed to Disney Springs to check out a World of Disney. They tried a few of the princess dresses on (which may have been a ploy to find out who they may fancy dressing up as next trip, based on the dress itchiness factor!) before heading to watch Freaky Friday (the new version…certainly wouldn’t have been my choice!) at the cinema in the VIP luxury seats.
After the film they headed for tea before stopping at Ghirardelli for a home-made ice cream. Unfortunately the chef got slightly distracted whilst making the custard for the ice-cream resulting in a slight scrambled-egg type situation that Gregg Wallace would give a good eyebrow raise/ nose look-down to, but good old Google meant it was rescued and a crisis was averted. The chef has now been told that maybe trying to take photographs of crazy golf escapades whilst making custard is possibly not the best idea!
The girls are off to bed now (possibly in the same nighties they’ve had on all day…please don’t judge!) as despite the fact that it’s before 6 they are absolutely shattered (see photos for evidence of zombie-like children). Must be the jet lag catching up with them! MK and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique await tomorrow. Wish me luck!
